Fukushima: Japan "SHIT in the Pool"!
The nuclear disaster in Fukushima, Japan; has annihilated the Pacific Ocean! Obviously this should be of absolute paramount concern to most life on Earth! However humans have actually evolved into blob-like creatures, which have almost zero ability to think into the future! (So they don't even care about the most important event, that may have ever occurred, in Earth-Human history.)
